I am pretty excited about English 1 this year because I like to read, and I love to write essays. English has not always been my best subject, like with grammar. I don't like grammar and grammar doesn't like me so lets keep it at that. One thing that will probably effect me this year is the blogs and having to write bigger essay. We never did a blog at my old school, and so I hope it will be easy to do.
One question that I do have is that how does the Reading Response work. Do I write what happens in the parts that I read like the plot. Or do I write about what I am thinking when I read. Like I said the blogs will most likely be the biggest problem that I have.
