Reading Response

"The Sniper"-pgs. 145-148, 10 min 10/30/12
"The Chrysanthemums"-pgs 173-184 20 min 10/31/12
"Daniel X"-pgs.1-50 60 min

"The Dangerous Days of Daniel X" so far has been a very interesting book. Because it is all about aliens and a kid trying to kill all the bad ones. In the story there are aliens who have taken human form and are living among real humans. That made me start to wonder what if there are aliens on our planet dressed up  like us and what if our best friends are aliens or our parents. Now that would be kind of freaky to think about.
"The Sniper" was the best short story I have read so far, because I love war and battle stories and sometimes they are just so intense that I feel like I am really there in battle with the sniper trying to survive by not getting killed. War stories are so interesting to read.

  1. Daniel X is one of my favorite James Patterson novels. I have to say that it's pretty creepy at times, but it didn't lead me to wonder whether my friends were... aliens or not... If you liked Daniel X, try The Witch and the Wizard, also by James Patterson. It's not quite as creepy, but then again, Mr. Patterson has a pretty twisted mind.
