The three books that I have read are Sucker, An Occurrence at Old Creek Bridge, and The Return. In "Sucker" I noticed that there was a lot of characterization about the boy. Including lots of personality traits and facial features. In "The Return" the author had extremely well details of the setting. The setting in this short story is important because it sets the view for the characters, like what kind of characters they are and what they are like.
I have not yet come up with a good thesis yet. Currently I have been going back over my short storiesand looking at key things for a good argument to make a good thesis. Hopefully soon I will find something good to argue about .
I have been having some trouble thinking of a good thesis too. I think I am writing about "The Sniper."
