For my English and History research question is how did the Atomic bomb dropped on Japan spark the Cold War? During my research I have found information about the making of the first Atomic bomb, and things let start after it was dropped like the USSR testing there first A-bomb, the Space Race with the Soviet Union and the United States. I have found a lot of information on the Cuban Missile Crisis which was the biggest threat in the Cold War. I picked this topic because
I have always been fascinated with WWII and the Atomic bomb and I wanted to know if the A-bomb dropped on Japan had any effect on the Cold war so I put them together am it turned into my topic.
My topic for my project is how the Atomic bomb dropped on Japan had a major affect on the beginning of the Cold War. On my days of research I have found that after WWII the Russians or Soviet Union tested there first A-bomb which then caused the US to take precaution and keep watch on the Russians activites. This also led to the Cuban Missile Crisis which was the Russians were bringing missile equipment into Cuba and building launching stations aimed right at the United States.
Thats quite a topic Landon. I'm sure there is a lot of technical and wordy information to sort through. Nice post.
ReplyDeleteInteresting topic Landon. As Mary Beth said, theres probably some confusing details and words that many readers most likely wouldn't comprehend. That being said, be sure to define simply.
ReplyDeleteWork on clarifying the links of your explanation and watch for commonly confused words like there/their/they're, especially in your thesis statement. Your thesis lists events, but does not quite get at the "how" part of your question - how can you make the connection more clear?
ReplyDeleteThat is a really cool topic. Some of the things were kind of confusing, but I like your topic. Sounds like a lot of research is involved, I hope you get a good start! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have a topic you can get some really interesting information on. Be careful, you repeated your topic 2 times.
